I Love LA

Yes, I know it has been a long time since I posted. And, yes, I know I said I would post my Catalina essay too. My parents were in town last weekend, and I've been busy with other matters, but now I'm back in the game and ready to roll.

Tomorrow is Dodgers Part 4 as the Boys in Blue play host to the Milwaukee Brewers. Dan Haren takes the bump for the Dodgers, while the Brew Crew counter with Wiley Perlta. Both the Brewers and Dodgers are in first place in their respective divisions, so I'm expecting a really good game. Heck, this may even be a preview of a potential playoff matchup.

Like always, I'll bring my bike into LA. I'm going to change my pre-game ride around a little and ride to the Staples Center before the big climb. Just looking at the route, this change takes me right through the middle of the Financial District, which should be quite the rush.

After the big hill, I have to find a spot to cool myself down. I have an idea of where I can go, but I'm not going to endure another sweaty afternoon at Dodger Stadium because of that ride. Even if it's just a shade tree with a bench, something has to be there.

After the game, I'm going to roll back into the Arts District and hit up Angel City Brewery again. I'm glad I've established that as my post-game traditional brewery, just like for the Angels game.

My social media pages will be active, as always throughout the day. So, until tomorrow...

Always take on the 3-0 pitch ;)
