Game 400

Just wanted to throw out a quick update on a milestone:

I keep track of all the professional games I go to in a dog-eared notebook, and my tally for games started in June 2006. This past Thursday, I attended my 400th professional game. It was a tilt at San Manuel Stadium between the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and the home Inland Empire 66ers.

I didn't do anything major or noteworthy for the milestone except drink a beer at the game. I think I have a couple of seasons, maybe, until Game 500, so I will do something more for that. However, the 66ers did win in a walk-off, which is always a fun thing to experience and witness.

Here is an interesting stat, all of the "Hundreds" have been at different ballparks. Number 100 was at Civic Stadium in Eugene; 200 was at PK Park in Eugene; 300 was at The Big A in Anaheim; 400 was at San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino.

My girlfriend and I attended the Futures Game in San Diego this past Sunday. I'll throw out an update here in a few days on that.

Always take on a 3-0 pitch ;)
